Which grazing table suits a baby shower?

Baby showers are often held in the morning or afternoon, so most hosts choose a sweet, fruit or brunch table. Savoury tables suit too, and you can pick more than one style on the enquiry form.

What do the tables cost?

Prices are set by size, and each size lists the most guests it feeds. These are the sweet, fruit and brunch prices for common baby shower sizes.

• Sweet: 0.5 m for up to 15 guests is $400, 1 m for up to 35 is $750, 2 m for up to 55 is $1,100 and 3 m for up to 75 is $1,550.
• Fruit: 0.5 m for up to 20 guests is $300, 1 m for up to 40 is $650, 2 m for up to 60 is $950 and 3 m for up to 80 is $1,300.
• Brunch: 10 to 15 guests is $650, 25 to 30 is $800, up to 45 is $950 and up to 75 is $1,300.

How big a table do I need?

Choose the size from your guest numbers. The number is a maximum, so a smaller crowd can use it. Count adults and children separately, because the form asks for both.

As a general rule of thumb, caterers plan about 150 to 200 grams of food per person for nibbles, and more if the table is the main meal. Tell us the start time, how long the shower runs and whether other food is being served, and we'll help you choose.

How does set-up work?

Our team arrives up to 2 hours before your start time to set up the table, and we supply everything you need for the day. The set-up is disposable or recyclable, so nothing needs to be returned.

If you would like a different look, you can hire stone, dishes or silverware. Tell us when you enquire.

Can you cater for dietary needs?

Yes, on request. We can cater for gluten free, dairy free, nut free, vegan and vegetarian needs. Tell us about any allergies when you enquire so we can plan the table.

Can I add savoury bites or drinks?

• Sandwiches (48 triangles): $125. Wraps (24): $170.
• Fresh fruit skewers: $4 each. Fresh fruit juices: $6.
• Sausage rolls, party pies, pastizzi and arancini balls: $3.50 each.
• One-person grazing cones: $25 each.

How do I book?

Tables need at least 5 days' notice, so book as early as you can.

• Send the enquiry form with your date, guest numbers and dietary needs.
• We reply within 24 hours to say whether your date is free.
• If it is, we send an invoice. The booking is confirmed once the 50% non-refundable deposit is paid.
• The balance is due 72 hours before the event.
