Which delivery zone is Docklands in?

Docklands (3008) is in our Melbourne CBD & inner city delivery zone, where delivery is $20 per order. It is west of the CBD, along the waterfront, and a short trip from Flinders Street.

What kinds of workplaces and homes are in Docklands?

In general terms, Docklands has large office floors, and many apartments around the waterfront. Big offices often need food for more people at once, such as a team meeting or a training day.

Apartment residents are more likely to want a box for a night in or a small gathering. These are general observations, not a list of clients.

Which boxes suit a Docklands team?

For groups, combine boxes. Our guide to how many people a grazing box feeds shows combinations for 4, 8 and 12.

• Group of 8: two medium savoury boxes at $200.
• Group of 12: three medium savoury boxes at $300, or two large savoury boxes at $330.
• Brekky grazing box: $70, feeds 1 to 2.

Planning food for a large Docklands team

Large offices tend to have fixed events through the year, such as team days, training and end-of-year functions. It helps to book tables early for those, and use boxes for the smaller everyday meetings.

As general guidance, a table works well when the group is more than about a dozen people, because it is set up once and guests serve themselves. Boxes work well when each meeting is small and the food needs to arrive at a fixed time.

Tell us the building access details in the order notes, such as a loading dock or a concierge desk, so the delivery goes smoothly.

When should a larger group book a table?

How do I order for Docklands?

There is no online payment. You send an order request, choose delivery or free pick-up from 238 Flinders Street and a one-hour slot between 9am and 3pm, and we call or email to confirm it and arrange payment.

Boxes need at least 24 hours' notice, and tables need at least 5 days'. Please call 0481 974 842 if you need something sooner. We can cater for gluten free, dairy free, nut free, vegan and vegetarian needs on request.
